GWGF 2020

Our family turned the girls' gymnastics competition in Coeur d'Alene, ID into a weekend get-away.  It was a seven hour drive, which began with breakfast at a quaint, French bakery in The Dalles, then a quick Costco trip in Spokane.  The meet was held at the beautiful Coeur d'Alene Resort right on the lake, and we  took several walks during the weekend admiring its beauty.  We also had a fun team dinner with all the girls' level 3 teammates and families the evening before their competition.  Great West Gym Fest is consistently rated one of the funnest, athlete & parent friendly meets on the west coast, featuring their Olympian ice cream socials, dance parties and the "Big Show."  McKinley and Piper competed well in their age categories.
