An Egg-cellent Easter

We loved having Ahmma and Dumpa here for Easter. A week leading up to their arrival, all McKinley could talk about was the easter egg hunt her and Ahmma were going to have.  So, the Saturday before Easter we dyed eggs.  Then after the girls took naps, Ahmma and Dumpa hid the eggs in the backyard and the hunt was on.  This was the first egg hunt for both McKinley and Piper, and it was so fun to watch.  Half of the eggs hidden were plastic with candy inside. McKinley, unbeknownst to us at the time, had figured it out and devoured all the candy before we figured it out.

A couple pics before church.  The hand on the hip is too cute.

The girls loved their new, embossed bibles from Gramma and Grampa C.

Piper is wearing a dress she got from Uncle Paul and Aunt Sherri for Christmas.  I knew I wanted to save it for Easter Sunday.

After church we snapped some more pictures before lunch.

Piper draws first blood.

McKinley shows us her loot.

Piper decided to put all her eggs in the oven to her play kitchen.
