Last month we took the plunge! After a couple of years contemplating owning backyard chickens, we finally decided to go for it. Everyone picked their own chick from our Wilco Farm Store, and we ended up with 5 different breeds. They were so cute and fluffy in the beginning, but now they all have their feathers and have doubled in size. Ben bought a coop kit, and built an indestructible chicken run. Ain't no raccoon or stray cat gonna get our chicks!!
We celebrated Easter by going to church, dyeing easter eggs, and having an egg hunt in the cul-de-sac. Then the following Sunday we celebrated Piper's decision to get baptized! We are so proud she resolved to go "All In."
