In Tessa's third month, three new developments were the most significant. By eleven weeks she began sleeping consistently through the night. Hallelujah! I moved out of her room and
finally into my own bed. She's in her crib by 7:45 pm, and then I wake her up around 9:00 pm for her last feeding and diaper change. Most mornings I wake her up no later than 6:45 am just to keep her on schedule. Secondly, she began drooling. I don't know if she's teething or if its because she constantly has her mouth slightly open with her tongue poking out, but she drools like a puppy. I think you can catch a glimpse of her slobbering in a couple pictures below. And lastly, she
loves to be upright, supporting her weight with her little legs locked-out. Also, this month she began to be less interested in feeding and more interested in flirting with me.
This I love! I used to get stressed out when McKinley & Piper would do the same thing because it didn't seem like they were eating enough. But now, I soak it all in, and if feedings get a little too drawn out, oh well. She also likes her fists, frequently sucking on them and has had some major blow-outs. As for firsts, she met her Uncle Ryan, Aunt Shannon, Leyton & Ellis for the first time, and went to church for the first time. Dadda calls her Bess, I refer to her as Little Miss, Little Minx or T-bird, and her big sisters love to call her Tee-tee. It's kinda funny how nicknames originate from nothing. A note about her outfit: This was the first thing I purchased after finding out we were having a girl. I loved its neon colors.
12 lbs, 15 oz at three months
One of my faves!
