Feeling Hot, Hot, Hot !

The girls are loving their new Slip-n-Slide!  It's perfect for the heat wave we've been experiencing.  And the temperatures show no sign of cooling off.  So, we'll be on a steady rotation of pool parties and Slip-n-Slide parties for the summer.

Firsts

The firsts of summer:  water balloon fights, Tessa riding the balance bike, berry-picking, pool parties, and popsicles after nap time.

The Constant Gardener

Dadda made some raised beds so that McKinley and Piper could have their own gardens to care for.  McKinley even helped Dadda construct the boxes, but they both picked out what they wanted to grow.  McKinley chose tomatoes and basil, while Piper wanted strawberries.  Piper's enthusiasm has since wavered, and now McKinley waters both beds everyday.
