Best Valentine's Day Date Ever

Dadda worked on Valentine's Day, so instead, I took my two little sweethearts to Sweetest Thing CupCakes. We ordered three cupcakes and a vanilla steamer to share.  Customers were cruising in and out, like a steady factory operation, picking up dozens of pre-ordered cupcakes.  We decided to eat in and enjoy the old Victorian house's elegant charm.  Of course, it wouldn't have been a date without getting gussied up first.  I even made the girls some new heart hair bling for the occasion.  And they their new matching dresses from Target clearance.

Test shot.

Chocolate Covered Strawberry on the left and Red Hot Love on the right.

This is fairly new.  They love giving each other kisses!

They had a pint-sized bench on their patio, perfect for one last picture.

Gov't Camp Mini-Vaca

We were so happy when Travis and Natalie bought plane tickets to see us!  The day after they flew into town, we piled all eight of us into the Swagger Wagon and headed to Mt. Hood for a mini-vaca in the snow.  We rented a two-bedroom suite at the Huckleberry Inn with the idea that we could enjoy the snow longer with a place to warm up and thaw out.  Plus, we were looking forward to huckleberry pancakes for breakfast the next morning.

Micah-moo and McKinners wait for the rest of the crew to bundle up.

Dadda and McKinley pose in front of the Huckleberry Inn.

Love this series of Piper sitting in the snow!

Her snow boots were a little too big for walking, so she made the most of it by eating snow instead.

McKinley and Momma go for a short mother-daughter walk through the small town of Gov't Camp.

Micah climbs a hill to slide down.

As always, gotta attempt a group cousin shot.

Luke (2 next month), Micah (almost 4), Piper (15 mos.) and McKinley (3).

Auntie Natalie and the boys enjoy the snow, while Uncle Travis is stuck in the room with the stomach flu.
